This year’s edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was a busy and successful event for BAM Motorsport, concluding a multi-year programme with Eurasia Motorsport to bring Japanese Gentleman driver Nobu Yamanaka to the compete in the biggest sports car race in the world.
From the driver line-up of BAM-managed drivers (Roberto Merhi and Nick Foster), through to the European logistics and promotional programme, the race more than met with expectations.
In addition, BAM PR supported Nielsen Racing and their first run to the chequered flag, while it was a similar story with managed-driver Renger van der Zande at DragonSpeed.
Back in the UK, Optimum Motorsport continued its mammoth run of GT3 races with the sixth round of the British GT Championship at Donington Park. The team are now setting up at Monza for the International GT Open championship with their two McLaren 720S GT3s.
Nick Foster meanwhile is ready to jump into a GT3 car for the first time since Bathurst in February. He will be competing in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup race at Zandvoort with SPS Automotive Performance.
Nicky Catsburg is also back in action this weekend at the 24 Hours Nürburgring, teaming up with Nick Yelloly once again in the Rowe Racing BMW M6 GT3. In addition, he will compete in the FIA WTCR championship with Hyundai.
