Aussie rising star Aidan Read is set to race on familiar ground for his Formula Masters title hunt at this weekend’s fourth round at Sepang, Malaysia (13-14 August)

With three rounds to go, Aidan will be looking to collect maximum points on his chase of the Formula Masters China Series title on Eurasia’s home racetrack, Sepang International F1 Circuit. Aidan began his international racing career at the Malaysian venue and has enjoyed great success since, including a triple win on the FMCS Winter GP and more recently a debut LMP3 victory on the Asian Le Mans Sprint Cup.

Arriving at Sepang, Aidan said: “Sepang is a special circuit, one that I have been successful at in the past, and I think that from the pace shown in Thailand at the last round we can be confident heading in to this weekend. I’ll be looking to use my understanding of the new track surface and the FMCS car to maximise performance, let’s see what we can do.”

The Formula Masters action launches on Saturday (13 August).
