Aidan Read heads to Buriram International Circuit, Thailand (July 23-24, 2016) for the third round of the Formula Masters China Series (FMCS) on the back of victory last time out in China.
Aidan is second in the championship behind Philip Hamprecht and is keen to close the gap further this weekend and based on the performance at Zhuhai, has every chance of doing so in his Eurasia Motorsport-prepared Tatuus-Volkswagen.
The Herman Tilke designed circuit which features long straights and hairpins turns will be a new challenge for Aidan and one he is very-much looking forward to.
“I’m looking forward to going to what is a new track for me and a new country,” Aidan said. “Having secured the first winner proper in the series I’m now looking for a repeat this weekend.
“It’s important I maintain the title challenge as it’s a tough series and you really have to make the best of every opportunity. That’s exactly what I’m aiming for and to build on what we achieved in Zhuhai.”
