It’s a case of unfinished business for Aidan Read’s return at Sepang, Malaysia, this weekend (2-4 September), were the young Australian will look to increase his silverware count in the Formula Masters China Series.
After withdrawing from the previous round due to illness, Aidan will be looking to return to the top step of the Formula Masters China Series podium on Eurasia’s home racetrack, Sepang International F1 Circuit, where he has enjoyed great success, including a triple win on the FMCS Winter GP and LMP3 victories on the Asian Le Mans Sprint Cup. With the championship leader Philip Hamprecht 60 points adrift with two rounds remaining, Perth-born Aidan will be looking forward finishing his FMCS campaign on a high.
Returning to Malaysian ground, Aidan said: “I’m looking forward to getting back into the rhythm this weekend at Sepang. I faced some really tough circumstances at the last FMCS round, having to withdraw with illness, but I’ve come back determined to fight on this time. I’ve got nothing to lose as far as the championship goes, so we’ll be pushing 110%, let’s see what we can do!”
