Perth-born Aidan Read heads to rounds three and four of the Asian Le Mans Series Sprint Cup being held this weekend (4-7 August, 2016) at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia.

Aidan will be joined by 2013 Eurasia graduate Tanart Sathienthirakul aiming to emulate the success from the first round ever where WINEURASIA archived two dominant LMP3 lights to flag wins in the new Asian Le Mans Sprint cup double header. This round will mark the middle point of the championship, making every point vital towards Aidan’s and WINEURASIA’s title aspirations.

Aidan said: “My teammate Tanart and I have finished practice for today. We have both made some good progress ahead of this weekend’s races. I’m getting more and more confident in the Ligier with every session, and I’m really looking forward to tomorrow’s testing programme. The results from round 1 were very strong, and I believe that the Eurasia team and I are in a good position to go for the top step once again.”

Aidan and WINEURASIA will be back on the Malay Tarmac tomorrow Friday for free practice. Qualifying will be on Saturday (5 August) from 9AM local time (UTC+08:00). The one-hour races will be held on Saturday at 1.55PM and Sunday at 2.30PM.
