As an official Lamborghini Squadra Corse driver, Aidan Read was in action recently with FFF Racing by ACM where he finished sixth and seventh in the silver-silver class, ninth and 14th overall, alongside teammate Alberto di Folco. From there it was straight into his non-racing duties with the Iconic Italian brand…

“We become much stronger as a team after weekends like these. It’s been an eye opener racing in Japan for the last two rounds and now Shanghai is next. At a familiar track and as a solid team, we will be looking to pounce.”

“The weekend was really testing for us, we dealt with it well as a team and we will come back stronger. We finished P9 and P14 in the races. We had strong moments throughout the weekend, but as a team faced many challenges with the car that set us back. We did well to stick together and get our best out of the situation, we are aiming higher so we’ll learn from this one and move on.”

“I’m really happy to have been a Lamborghini Esperienza and Accademia instructor following the weekend, the event was fantastic. I was thrown the keys to some serious Italian cars.

“Customers had the chance to test the Huracan Performante and Aventador S on track. It was amazing to push the road supercars at Fuji Speedway and share the Lambo thrill!”

The Blancpain GT Series Asia now heads to China for the final two rounds of the championship, starting with Shanghai International Circuit on the 23-24 September.
