TF Sport head to Donington Park this weekend for the fourth round of the British GT Championship. As the championship reaches the mid-way point, the grid travels to the former Grand Prix circuit for the season’s first two-hour race.
Nicki Thiim and Mark Farmer scored a podium at the Derbyshire track last season, with Nicki setting the GT3 lap record of the circuit; a rapid 1:28:196. The pairing left Silverstone two week’s ago having secured second place in the three-hour race – they take a 15-second success penalty into the upcoming weekend.
What had looked like a double-podium for TF Sport suddenly left Jonny Adam and Graham Davidson heartbroken in the #47. Having led a large quantity of the race, an unfortunate accident with a backmarker spun them out of contention and into ninth place. Going into the weekend the duo are prepared and hoping for a strong weekend to secure a large points haul to get their season back on track.
TF Sport sit in second place in the championship despite some of the unluckiness experienced this season. The result in Silverstone elevates Mark and Nicki to fourth overall and third in the Pro-Am championship, while Jonny and Graham slot into seventh overall and fourth in class.

It was good to be back on the podium at Silverstone, although sad for Jonny and Graham who were cruelly robbed. Our track record at Donington Park is strong. We had an awesome performance at the end of last season. Let’s see what happens.

Donington Park is a good hunting ground for me in the past and we as a team look forward to bounce back from a disappointing Silverstone. We go into this weekend needing a win to get our championship back on track and take maximum points away from the weekend. Graham was fast there in 2018 and the new Vantage should suit the medium speed sections of the track.

Five different winners in five races has instigated a closely fought GT4 championship. TF Sport are yet to mix amongst the winners but have secured a pole position and a podium to sit in second place in the championship.
Pit-stop penalties took Josh Price and Patrick Kibble out of the race lead in the Silverstone 500, but the pairing go into Donington with strong momentum having shown immediate pace throughout the last round. Josh secured the fastest GT4 lap of the race ensuring TF Sport left Silverstone with both honours, after Nicki also ended up with the fastest GT3 lap in the #2.
Ashley Hand and Tom Canning take a ten-second Success Penalty to Donington after their fourth place in Silverstone. ERC Sport, who finished the race in second, are not season-entrants to British GT, meaning their championship points – and ultimate success penalty – are distributed to those who are. The pairing rounded out Silverstone in first in Silver Class to add to their successes in what is their first full-season of British GT.
Ahead of this weekend Josh and Patrick are 15th in the overall GT4 championship and inside the Silver Class top ten. Ash and Tom jump to sixth overall and third in class.

We’re looking forward to building on what would have been a strong Silverstone 500 for both me and Patrick. We were unfortunate with the penalties, but we had great pace and the car felt good. There is no other aim than to be on that top step come Sunday.
