Just weeks after the thrill of the Macau Grand Prix, Teamwork Motorsport will be back in action in the TCR China Series finale which takes place 29-31 December. In addition, the team will also enter the last round of the 12-hour Super Endurance Championship with the VW Golf TCR. Both races will take place at Teamwork’s home base in the Guangdong International Circuit, China.

#31 Alex Hui currently third in the standings and remains in contention for the TCR China Series championship. #62 Sunny Wong/Alex Fung will be tactically supporting Hui in a bid for that championship.

“We’ve come a long way in the TCR China series,” Wong said who trails Hui by 14 points in the championship in fourth position. “Looking back, we’ve had some flaws and there’s areas where we could have done better.

“I don’t stand a chance in the championship so I will focus on helping my teammate Hui. We want to finish with a strong finish at our home circuit. From what we’ve learned, next year we will improve as a team, whether it is with the TCR Series or other new programmes.”

Another feature in the race weekend is the Super Endurance Championship and Teamwork has done well in the year-end race before, recording a class win and overall second in 2012 and 2015 respectively.
