After exactly one month from the previous round of MTCS, the three Sunctity Group RCZs and Teamwork Motorsport’s drivers Paul Poon, Samson Fung, and Alex Fung are ready for the second outing this weekend at Zhuhai.
During the last event, all three Suncity RCZs went under different setups and upgrades in order to find the best direction to adapt to the latest 1.6T regulation change. The team is going to use this coming weekend to put more ideas into the test.
Currently, all three drivers took good points from the last two rounds and are in good positions to be qualified for the Macau GP. Paul Poon and Samson Fung scored a second place podium each while Alex Fung snatched a 4th and 5th.
Paul Poon indicates: “No doubt the competition has become stronger this year, whether it’s in Zhuhai, or in Macau. We’ve been working with our engineers continuously on and off the track to try to improve our cars. Obviously, our pace isn’t the fastest on the track at this moment, but luckily there are still few months before Macau GP for us to execute what we have planned for. I am already looking forward to 2017 Macau GP and I am confident that the three of our Suncity RCZs will again be the challenger for the podiums there.”
The second weekend of MTCS is to be hosted at the Zhuhai International Circuit, China on the 24-25 June.
