Teamwork-run Suncity Group RCZs achieved great results in last year, dominating the Team’s and Driver’s title in HTCC, and enjoyed a remarkable one-three finish by six-time race winner Paul Poon leading the up-and-coming driver Alex Fung in the Macau GP CTM Cup.

This year due to technical regulations and Macau GP entry criteria change, the team is switching its focus first to Macau Touring Car Series preliminary races in Zhuhai International Circuit in May and June.

The Teamwork trio, Paul Poon, Samson Fung, and Alex Fung will continue to pilot their Suncity RCZs. During the off-season, the RCZs have undergone various power and chassis upgrades to meet the MTCS and Macau GP 1.6T regulations but the final specs of the cars are still being developed.

“I am very glad to be back into the RCZ with Paul and Samson, and to compete in the MTCS 1.6T class,” said Alex Fung. “It has been a while since we last raced with these cars. During the off-season, we have been testing differing upgrade directions such as power, aerodynamics, and chassis. And we will utilize MTCS to see how the cars perform in hot laps and in the races. Then we will come up with a final specs for the Macau GP.”
