
Lamborghini Squadra Corse this week unveiled the drivers that will take part in its 2017 Young Driver Program and of those selected, FFF Racing by ACM are pleased to confirm that three drivers from the new intake compete with the Chinese-based team.
Teammates Carrie Schreiner and Richard Goddard compete in Super Trofeo Asia with FFF Racing and have been confirmed as part of the program. The duo secured a class win last weekend at Buriram, Thailand and have momentum on their side at this early stage of the season.
Jack Bartholomew also competes in the Super Trofeo Asia championship and secured back-to-back podiums last month in Malaysia and again at the weekend in Thailand. FFF Racing driver Aidan Read meanwhile has already been confirmed in the GT3 Junior Academy for the year.
“We really are proud that three of our Super Trofeo drivers have been added to the Young Driver Program and this underlines the faith that the brand is putting in our team to nurture and develop new talent,” FFF Racing Team Owner Sean Fu Songyang said. “The announcement is an endorsement to our hard work and the progress we have made already this year in Super Trofeo Asia.”
Now in its fourth season, the Young Drivers Program seeks out talented individuals aged between 17 and 26 and helps nurture that talent with a comprehensive program off and on track including physical fitness, race preparation, communications, classroom theory sessions as well as several specially designed training camp sessions at Imola and Sant’Agata Bolognese throughout the year.
