
FFF Racing by ACM are all set for round two of the Blancpain GT Series Asia Series and Super Trofeo Asia, which takes place this weekend (19-21 May, 2017) at Chang International Circuit, Thailand.
Aidan Read and Alberto Di Folco team up once again in the #1 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in GT Asia, but with Ho-Pin Tung continuing his busy schedule with first the World Endurance Championship, where he secured a podium position at Spa-Francorchamps, and this weekend in his role as a reserve driver for a Formula E team, the #2 car will be driven by Lin Yue who joins Zhu Junhan.
Read and Di Folco finished a fine fourth in the Silver-Silver class the last race at Sepang, the leading Lamborghini in the field are sixth in the driver standings. Zhu Junhan and his new teammate will be seeking a better run this weekend and after scoring three points in Malaysia.
“We’re very optimistic in both GT3 and Super Trofeo following the strong showing at the first round of the championship in Sepang that we will be challenging for the podiums,” stated FFF Racing Team Owner Sean Fu Songyang. “The team have been working hard and believe we can get some top results.”
In addition to the GT Series Asia, FFF Racing will field two cars once again in the Super Trofeo Asia Series with Carrie Schreiner and Richard ‘Spike’ Goddard in the #15 Lamborghini Huracan ST and Jack Bartholomew and Armaan Ebrahim in the sister #5 entry. The latter secured a fine podium in Malaysia and both will be seeking strong showings in Buriram.
