July in Action: Driver Performances & Results
4-6 July – ELMS and DTM
The opening weekend of July took us to Imola, where BAM-supported Inter Europol Competition contested Round 3 of the European Le Mans Series. In LMP2, Nick Yelloly converted a fourth-place qualifying effort into an excellent P2 finish, continuing the team’s strong form. In LMP3, Tim Creswick qualified P5 and brought the car home in P7 — a solid points result in a competitive field.
Over in Germany, Ben Green and Jordan Pepper were in DTM action on the tight, unforgiving streets of the Norisring. Race 1 saw Green retire after contact, while Pepper brought home a solid P9. In Race 2, Pepper stormed to pole and converted it into a brilliant win, while Green bounced back from Saturday’s disappointment to finish a strong P6.
11-13 July- Formula E, GTWC Asia and IMSA
In Berlin, the Formula E double-header of the season saw Nico Muller compete with Andretti Motorsport. He brought home points in Race 1 with a P8 finish after qualifying seventh. In Race 2, however, he fell back to P17 following a strong qualifying in P6.
Meanwhile in Japan, Ben Green was racing for Johor Racing in GT World Challenge Asia. After a P8 in Race 1, he delivered a spectacular victory from pole position in Race 2 — a standout drive and a career highlight.
Over in Canada, IMSA racing resumed at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
- Dan Harper (Paul Miller Racing, GTD Pro): QP5 → P9
- Neil Verhagen ( Paul Miller Racing, GTD Pro): QP1 → P6
- Nicky Catsburg (Corvette Racing, GTD Pro): QP4 → P2 podium
- Inter Europol Competition (LMP2): QP4 → DNF
A mixed weekend overall with strong qualifying pace, especially in LMP2, but not all results reflected the team’s potential on race day.
18-20 July – GTWC Europe
The third weekend of the month saw GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup head to Misano. BAM supported several entries including Barwell Motorsport, Dan Harper with Paradine Competition and Ben Green with Emil Frey Racing.
Ben Green showed solid pace in Race 1, qualifying fifth and bringing the car home in a respectable P7. In Race 2, it was his team-mate who qualified down in P22, while Green battled through a tough race to finish P15 and collect more points for the team.
Dan Harper, racing with Paradine Competiton, delivered one of the weekend’s top performances — qualifying second and finishing P2 in Race 1, and following that up with P4 in Race 2. Another consistent outing for the Dan, continuing to establish himself as a front-runner in the championship.
25-27 July – Formula E Season Finale
The month closed with the Formula E season finale in London, where Nico Müller wrapped up his campaign with Andretti Motorsport. A challenging weekend saw him finish 15th in Race 1 before a DNF in Race 2, ultimately securing P15 in the Drivers’ Championship after a season filled with highs and lows.
2-3 August – IMSA and GTWC Europe
The start of August continued the momentum built throughout July, with BAM drivers in action across IMSA at Road America and GT World Challenge Europe in Magny-Cours.
It was a standout weekend in IMSA, particularly in GTP and LMP2.
Nick Yelloly secured pole position in the #93 Acura and converted it into a strong P3 podium finish — a reward for great pace all weekend. Meanwhile, Inter Europol Competition fought through the LMP2 field from tenth on the grid to finish a superb P2, showcasing excellent race strategy and execution.
In GTD Pro, it was a mixed bag. Dan Harper brought home P7 after qualifying fourth, while Nicky Catsburg was forced to retire after contact despite a promising start from P3. However, Neil Verhagen delivered a standout performance for Paul Miller Racing, taking the win in class and capping off a successful weekend for the team.
In Magny-Cours, Round 7 of GT World Challenge Europe, Ben Green continued his campaign with Emil Frey Racing. He picked up a solid P8 finish in Race 1 after a steady performance but dropped down the order in Race 2, coming home in P14 after qualifying tenth.
Elsewhere on the grid, Barwell Motorsport maintained consistency, with both entries finishing in the points — continuing their strong run in the championship heading into the second half of the season.
Coming up in August
July brought a wave of momentum across multiple series — from podiums in ELMS and IMSA to wins in GTWC Asia and strong performances in GTWC Europe Sprint. As we turn the page to August, the schedule continues at full speed with upcoming rounds in Spa, Fuji, and Road Atlanta.
